Algebra Problem 26
Smaller Fish

Suppose you and your family go fishing every year in Canada.  You find that the average length of the fish is decreasing by 1.8 cm per year.

Let X represent the average length of the fish in 1992.  Write an expression for the average length in 1998.   If the average length was 76 cm in 1992, what was it in 1998?  Check your answer by making a table and looking for a pattern.
