Ms. Hart puts a math problem in each square of a 3x3 grid. Each problem solved correctly is one point, with an additional point for every three in a row correct. The highest score possible for a 3x3 grid would be 17 points. Sometimes she uses a 4x4 grid, with an additional point for every 4 in a row. Sometimes the grid is a 5x5, 6x6, etc. Find a pattern to determine the highest score possible no matter what size square grid Ms. Hart uses. |
