We designed this collection of daily math problems to help students in the third, fifth, and eighth grades prepare for the State of Oregon CIM Benchmark exams. Student exercises are organized by grade level, concept, and suggested week.
CIM Problems provide CIM level practice exercises in algebra, geometry, and statistics/probability, along with a math scoring rubric. CIM Problems are also available in a frameless version. "Additional Problem Solving Tasks and Sample Tests are available from the Oregon Department of Education. Complete math scoring guides are also available at the O.P.E.N. Practice Scoring web page. "
The Math Vocabulary is a glossary aligned to the State of Oregon Content Framework. Math Fun! is a growing collection of math puzzles and games We also include a summary of math requirements of the Proficiency-based Admission Standards System (PASS). Beginning in the fall of 2001, students planning to attend an Oregon university are required to meet these requirements for admission to the Oregon University System. Answers to the daily math practice problems have been provided but not for the CIM problems since students may be using them as work samples. |
