Technical Support

SK Online provides technical support to all SK Online students.  Our goal is to make sure every student can get to their online course work and communicate with their online instructors. Tech support is available by e-mail, telephone, or onsite free of charge within the Salem-Keizer area.  A parent or guardian must be present during technical support visits to a student's home.  Onsite technical support visits are by appointment only. Boxermath students may also contact Boxermath technical support at techsupport@boxerlearning.com. Contact SK Online technical support by e-mail, or through the SK Online office at (503) 399-3205.

SK Online Web Address
The correct web address to access your course is http://skoclass.org.  Notice there is no "www" in the address.

Sign In
Your user name to log in to SK Online courses (not Boxer Math or STARS) is your first and lastnames put together in one word, with no spaces and no capital letters. Example:  Joe Garcia's user name would be joegarcia.

Your password was mailed to the e-mail address you listed on your registration. For many students, this is a yahoo, hotmail, or AOL e-mail address. Your password must be entered exactly as shown.

Change Your Password
To change your password, sign in to one of your courses. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click on the "key" icon. Type in your NEW password into the box marked "Account Password." To confirm, re-type it again in the box marked "Retype Password." Typing it twice ensures that you do not accidentally mis-spell your password. IMPORTANT:  You must scroll to the bottom of the screen and click Submit for your password to take effect. If you do not, your password will not be changed.

Boxer Math and STARS Courses

Your user id and password for Boxer Math and/or STARS is NOT necessarily the same as your user id and password for SK Online. Changing your password following the above directions changes your password in SK Online ONLY, not in Boxer Math or STARS.

If you are using Internet Explorer 6.0 or later, it no longer comes with Java Virtual Machine, which is necessary to use BoxerMath. Download JavaVM here.

To Begin Your Course
Click on the Course Home button.

E-Mail
You will have a new e-mail account issued to you which will be username@skoclass.org. Example: Joe Garcia's new e-mail address would be joegarcia@skoclass.org. You MUST use this e-mail account to communicate with your teacher. Teachers will not accept e-mail from, or send e-mail to, an outside address such as hotmail, yahoo, or AOL. You are free to give this address out to friends and family and use it as your main e-mail address, if you wish.
